I don’t even exactly remember how long it’s been. Two, maybe three years? We were still just getting to know each other. I paid for the night, as a gentleman should, but I ended up going home that night and finding a heart-shaped $20 bill in my jacket pocket. Since then I just kept it in my wallet. I’ve never really been the type of person to keep things given to me for sentimental purposes. I would either give things back, throw them out or sometimes, accidentally of course, lose them. I mean, we weren’t really together for very long. Eventually I kept it more as an emergency $20 rather than a memory. But, it was something I held onto all this time, which I think says a little bit. So as cheesy as it is, I guess the point of this is to thank you. For the heart. It helped me out tonight. I hope you’re well.
